Our new schools attract highly qualified teachers and administrators, and also we offer competitive pay scales. A major attraction is our Employee Day Care Center, that is self sustaining and operated by teachers.
For many years the School Committee has supported small class size 19 - 20 per class. Even with tight fiscal constraints we have maintained class size.
The City of Medford spends over 14 million dollars to give Special Education services to students that need them. It is the job of the School Committee to provide and take care of all students.
